When I started as a CIO, I had the good fortune to work for a very demanding boss focussed on delivering change rapidly and efficiently. Through this process, I created an IT assessment methodology that enabled me to consistently manage the many facets of a Technology function ranging from strategy and business relationships through to adequately managing 3rd parties, security and SLAs.
